Dear Parents,
These are exciting times for parents who are sending their child(ren) to school. I
remember when my children went to school for the first time. Their reactions were the same -
that was so FUN! Can we go back tomorrow? My wife and I both laughed and said, “Yes, you
can!” And you also know how influential school can be on a young child.
St. John’s Lutheran School invites you to come and see what is taught in our preschool
at any time.  Parents and teachers get to meet each other to discuss what is taught in the the
classrooms in the light of God’s Word. And parents will get to see the love of Christ in action
            as we profess “Jesus Lives!”
We also would like you to talk to  our current parents about our preschool
program. This is a great opportunity to find out first hand about how the school has
worked for their child this year. Word of mouth is an important part of a school’s culture, but
parents talking directly with parents is by far the most powerful way to find out answers.
As far as the financial part of this, 2019-20 school tuition for 3 year olds is $625 for St.
John’s members and $725 for non St. John’s members. For 4 year old children, the tuition is
$700 for St. John’s members and $800 for non St. John’s members. We know that money is
always a struggle. We do offer financial aid for all families who may need some.
School times also vary by age. Three year old student would come on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 8:15 AM - 11:30 AM, with the Wednesday option. Four year old students would
come Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:15 AM - 11:30 AM.
I am looking forward to meeting with all prospective parents as we look forward to next
year with the privilege of teaching your precious little lambs in the light of God’s Word. God’s
blessings on your decision! Jesus Lives! Be Still!
            In Christ’s Service,
Albert Karnopp, Principal at St. John’s Goodhue
